Three exhibitions related to plant extracts are postponed
As the new aggressive wave of Omicron here in China, there are at least 3 shows related to the plant extracts industry are postponed till now. The APIChina, FICChina, and CPhIChina are rescheduled as official announcements.
1.Plant extracts players joined exhibition-APIChina( Sinophex)
The 88th APIChina, originally scheduled on 10~12 May, 2022 is postponed to 3~5 August,2022, same city as before in Qingdao, Shangdong Province.
APIChina, together with PHARMEX, PHARMPACK and SINOPHEX is a great party for the pharmaceutical industry, including the players in plant extracts field. Many plant extracts are active pharmaceuticals ingredients or intermediates, such as andrographolide, rutin, camptothecin, quercetin, paclitaxel, artemisinin, bergenin, too much to be listed here.
APIChina has twice exhibitions one year and the Spring one is arranged after the Autumn one. Similarly, when and where to hold the coming Autumn APIChina are not fixed as the Spring is still on the road.
2.Food ingredients China 2022 (FIC 2022)
Exhibition FIC for Natural originated ingredients are rearranged.
Similarly, the FIC is postponed, the opening date and site are not fixed yet. It was planned to start on 31 May,2022 at NECC in Shanghai.
The organizers of FIC are China Food Additives & Ingredients Association (CFAA) and CCPIT Light Industry Sub-Council. The FIC is now a professional show brand related to 23 categories of food additives, 35 categories of food ingredients, food processing aids, novel food and food machinery.
Food as medicine items such as Ginseng powders join the show. Meanwhile, Plant extracts, as natural ingredients for functional foods, take a great part in this show also. Natural extracts roles as active natural sweetener(Monk fruit extract, stevia extract), natural colors(lutein,capsanthin,curcumins), health-improved ingredients are much more popular than ever before.
FIC provides a solid platform between supply and demand side, and also between domestic and overseas food ingredients related industry.
CPhIChina 2022(nex) needs a new arrangement.
Likewise, the CPhI & P-MEC China team just anounced that CPhI & P-MEC China 2022 is postponed. The nex, a part of CPhI, specially show for natural extracts, is consequently postponed together. The originally schedule is to open on 21 June at SNIEC in Shanghai city. As the CPhI team advised, the new date and more specific information will be shared shortly.

Anyway, there’s a temporary schedule for NPIC 2022 summit. The summit is to open on coming June in Xi’An as announced today. The NPIC is the short term for Nature Products Ingredients China, organized by CHINACHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOR IMPORT & EXPORT OF MEDICINES & HEALTHPRODUCTS(CCCMHPIE). Hope this shall be held as arranged.
