What is Andrographolide sulfonate? Andrographolide Sulfonate is an Andrographolide derivative, It is a semi-synthetic active pharmaceutical ingredient based on andrographolide, same as Yanhuning, the water-soluble andrographolide.

In China, this andrographolide derivative is generally for injection, Xiyanping is the one of trademarks of andrographolide sulfonate injection in China. As we know, Andrographolide is sourced from the herb Andrographis Paniculata, which is a traditional medicinal herb with a long history in Asia. Meanwhile, herb meds Andrographis are listed in modern medicinal Pharmacopeia in several countries.
